- I love robotics and have had the privilege to work on some cool projects. I'm a submarine engineer, built the submarine for Tom Perkins and Richard Branson, part of Hawkes Ocean Technologies. Now work at a spin off doing underwater unmanned systems.
- Tell us a bit about your UAV interest
- i've worked on darpa grand challenge, contracted to build AUV's for UC berkeley, worked around the UC Berkeley's autonomous systems lab with helis but never got to build my own. Glad to find this group to build my own. if there's need for underwater expansion, as IMU's and localization isn't my strong point, i can do the rest, circuits/coding/build. check out my blog on the AUV i built, scroll to very first entry http://charleschiau.blogspot.com
