Total misconception___Drone use in the U.S. raise privacy concerns

Drone use in the U.S. raise privacy concerns(CBS News) - Unmanned aerial vehicles, a key weapon in the hunt for terrorists overseas, are coming to America. In February, President Barack Obama signed a bill that opens U.S. airspace to thousands of these unmanned aircraft. The drones come in just about any size you want - as large as a passenger plane - or as small as a hummingbird."There's no stopping this technology," said Peter Singer, a…See More

About Me:
I live in Toronto, Canada, and I would love to find someone around here who is into this!
Tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I want to have the most advanced helicam in Toronto and use it in film productions. I have a quad with a GU 344 gyro already working and shooting, but the Arducopter seems really superior. EDIT: really really superior.

thanks for the offer, but I need a heavy lifter!

thanks for replying.

do you have a shop?

looks good

The T580 is a heavy lifter designed for photography Payload 500g to 800g : for a still camera or a DV & very light carbon construction position hold, xmode + mode selectable options. I think it could be a weight/power issue as well when I load up my copter it is hard to control it takes a lot of practice.

Hi,

Your rate P is far too low. Rate P is directly related to how hard your motors try to keep you level. Your quad looks a bit "lazy".  If the defaults didn't work for you try something just a bit lower.

Don't worry about your Stabilize P until you get this thing behaving more snappy.

At 2:01pm on September 9, 2011, estebanflyer said…

Perfect! thank you!

When Rate P was higher it would woobble too much, but i did lower both STAB P and RATE P at the same time.

Thanks again.

Four modes switch for Futaba T6EX

Posted on July 2, 2011 at 2:00pm 23 Comments

The T6EX doesn't have a 3 position switch channel, so I had to combine channel 5 and 6 to get four modes. I made it work with a pot that has double terminals for each knob position, so that way there is always 2 pins to connect cables to for a single position.

Think of this knob as a bridge between same terminals: A to A, B to B, etc, closing the circuit to ground.

Channel 6 is connected to a terminal A and a terminal B from the opposite side.

Channel 5 is…
