"Yes, it was about 140 to be exact, but I didnt have the figures when editing the video. Sharp observation Jack! :) It is sometimes scary how you find yourself able to judge the planes altitude from the ground by just estimating. I normally fly att…"

"Thanks Gary! I don't think any more laps are necessary for my setup as it is probably as fast as it gets with the SUperMiss. I was actually surprised that it cruised around @ 45-50 kph in spite of the short legs. Fun competition and nice to…"

Hi Icebear, I noticed your new pics on RCForums from the Brahe hus - a swedish 17th century mansion. Can you link and geotag them on the pictearth site. I would really like to see exactly where this is :)

HI Bjorn,

Would you be interested in betatesting some windows processing software with your GPS Tracks and Still photos? Chris is starting to test, and we just got some Finns up and running this weekend. The more the merrier.

The program only requires a normal windows install, the output from your GPS (nmea, gpx, csv) and your digital photos with EXIF (time taken etc). It will produce files for Google Earth that we can then process.

Let me know if you are up for this, Thx

Hi Ice, can I get your set up for your videos (AttoPilot Beta test part III)?
Plane (with mods),Camera & AutoPilot gear?

Sure,
Scorpio Miss2 (similar verion available from HobbyLobby), no mods other than a camera mount fitted to the side of the fuselage and the addition of the Atto + GPS.
Motor is an AXI 2212/34 with APC 9x6 slim prop. Will actually fly for 45 mins on a 3S-2000pack and the AUW is around 34 oz + camera (4.5 oz).

Icebear,
what kind of camera are you using? The video quality is really good. All recorded are are you transmitting?
Thanks,
Edan

Thanks Edan.
It is just a Pentax Optio s5z compact 5 MP digital cam. It has 640x480 video with DivX compression so you get 45 mins on a 1GB card. No downlink...
