"Are you still selling this? Where would it be shipping from? I'm not sure I understand the $320 worth of parts. The link you posted has this kit listed as $140, so even with the other parts listed, 225 seems high. Can you help me understand?…"

"Yes, if I were starting again now I'd go Aurora 9.   Sadly, I've got way too much invested in Futaba 2.4 7x gear now so can't switch. It's fine and very reliable, but I always found the programming clumsy."

Securing Gear to Servo solution

Well, after blitzing my 3rd servo while testing (learning) my BlimpDuino card I finally figured out a good way to attach the big gear to the servo. The problem has always been that the Lego gear is Lego specific and never fit nicely on any servo. The first step is to create a decent hole in the gear so an axle of some sort can be inserted and secured. I used a Dremel and a small grinder bit as a drill bit simply grabbed the odd part of the gear and damaged the gear. [Thanks Chris for the new…See More

I need a new hobby as the last one, Super 8 cine films, was just way too pricey.
Also, I may be able to use drone technology for security cams on a project my company is doing.
