Xbee pro S1,GPS together with HK GCS worked out for me,,without any additional hardware.

So it was the first time when Xbee pro along with 5V TTL GPS and HK GCS worked out for me without any additional micro-controller.I was jsut trying initially to avoid any coding part to test out the Gps and HK gcs in reality because till now i had only seen the pics of it working out but hadn't tried it yet.But when i tried it really worked. So before jumping to the UAV coding part i will work out on the XBEE controlled DC motor robot fitted with a wireless camera of rage 15 mtr(NON LOS) and…See More

On which position your switch is on at XtremeBee board? Also can you run XCTU rande test between two computers to see that modems actually talk to each other.

WhHello everybody,I am using Xbee XBee Pro 60mw Wire Antennapair for receving the GPS NMEA string simply using xctu.I had comfigure them both for PAN id and two more things using XCTU.but i m not reading anything on XCTU .Means on the UAV side i had simply added the TX of GPS to the D in pin of breakout board on which i had added the TX xbee. And had set the baud rate as 9600(for both GPS and Xbee).LED for Din on breakout board is also blinking aproving the reception of Data at Din pin of TX…See More

As I suggested in the other thread...your plans were to inject some other value in the NMEA string, right? It was heading? Are you going to have an IMU on board? If so, you'll want to inject pitch and roll too....that's why I suggested…
