I have published a full tutorial about the working setup with the APM v2.6 and the Mission Planner, you will find it in my GitHub at::

Here a video of the mission #35 of the Calmato Alpha 40 EP piloted by the firmware ArduPlane v2.73-xp1 during a full and autonomous
    flight following a flight plan.
There are windy (15 km/h) and gusty (30 km/h) conditions.
You will also see the real time telemetry on the Mission Planner ground station.
The WayPoints have been previously recorded in flight (AUTO_SAVE_WP) by using the switch on the CH7 while the plane has been set in
STABILIZE mode. Then a flight plan (FPL) has been built and stored in the IMU memory.

Here a video of the mission #18 of the Calmato Alpha 40 EP piloted by the firmware ArduPlane v2.73-xp1.
The XP1 addon features has been used here:
    - TP_AWPR_NAV is ENABLED (Adaptative bank turn on a Wp)
    - TP_CL_NAV is ENABLED (Closed loop navigation in AUTO mode)
The left-hand landing pattern has been set at low altitude above the runway and the flight has been done in AUTO mode.

Here a video of the successful mission #16 of the Calmato Alpha 40 EP piloted by the firmware ArduPlane v2.73-xp1 during a full and autonomous flight following a flight plan.
The WayPoints have been previously recorded in flight (AUTO_SAVE_WP) by using the switch on the CH7 while the plane has been set in STABILIZE mode. Then a flight plan (FPL) has been built and stored in the IMU memory.

This a video of tests of the features added on the ArduPlane v2.73-xp1:
    - Cleanup the FPL with the SW on CH7,
    - Auto recording a FPL (Auto_Save WP) in flight with the SW on CH7,
    - Closed Loop Nav,
    - full testing done on X-Plane v9.70 in HIL mode with the same PID parameters than the REAL model (a Calmato Alpha 40 EP)
