Could you elaborate on your choice of accelerometer and gyroscope sensors for 0.3.5 and the upcoming 0.4? How do the performance, availability, cost, and ease of use compare between the selection of sensors out there? Thanks.

John, I can't elaborate much.. the BMA180 is a very well known and good quality accelerometer, used by other projects too (FreeFlight IMU).. same for the ITG3200. The MPU6050 which will be featured on FreeIMU v0.4 is still not available so I can't offer much insights on that.

Hi Fabio, sorry for not asking you first before I post here :-) I am just waiting for my two boards with MS5611. I had a talk yesterday with Meas-spec distributor and understand that these with plastic cap are already in production, but metal caps are still sampling (if somebody is interested in those details).
