  • I read Robopocalypse a while ago and enjoyed it.  I like hard sci-fi and I am hard to please and even though I started out out skeptical I would call Robopocalypse a solid sci-fi book.  On the other hand "Survive a Robot Uprising" is a somewhat humorous tongue in cheek book similar to the Idiot's Guide series of books.

  • LOL - I think reading Donald Duck will prepare you sufficiently to "Survive a Robot Uprising".

  • I actually red Amped and wasn't very impressed.  I picked it up after seeing Chris mention one of his upcoming books, so I decided to try it.  Some of the concepts were interesting, but the story line was fairly thin.  The most interesting part of the book, more than the technology presented, was the reaction of "un-enhanced" people to "amped" people.  Basically like extreme racism.  And vilification of amped people by some politicians for political gains, sequestration of them into concentration RV parks....  all very believable.   I'd like to read Robopocalypse, but would be interested to hear other's reviews first.
