Really neat looking... But this still needs a EZG/EZS kit for it to be made. Which is the expensive part for us. $120 for it...

just a quick check at tower gave me this EZG-E for $79.99 i didnt see it being sold at tower but the pure glider goes for $60 approx . i could make my own wings but they wouldn't be EPP also you can get replacement wings for like $40.I hope to make the kits available for around $50you just add EZG and tailboom

wayne,

BP Hobbies (bphobbies.com) in NJ has the EZG electric wings for under $36 and tail set for under $17. As you point out you do not need the complete kit to build your design.

It would be nice to provide ready-cut tray for camera mount and a protector for down-facing lens.

wayne,

What size outrunner, prop, ESC, and battery are you recommending?

@ Krzysztof , that's exactly what I plan to offer . Modular trays customized for whatever camera . i will probably offer a few trays for popular cameras . as far as exposing a downward camera i plan on using bomb-bay doors . i don't like clear plastic as it always collects dust a dirt which can ruin a flight.

@Thomas I have two set ups I am going to try
combo #1: efight park 450 ,castle creations thunderbird 18 ,3-cell LiPo ,APC 10x8
for approx 33.1 ounces static thrust
14.1 full throttle amps
8:56 minutes full throttle duration

combo #2: eflight power10 , thundrbird 54 ,3-cell LiPo , apc 10x7
for approx 56.7 ounces static thrust
30.6 full throttle amps
4:07 minutes full throttle duration

combo #1 will be good for long duration with 3.25 lbs weight
combo #2 will be good for up to 4.4 lbs
