It's using a fixed position Canon TX1 HD camcorder (downsampled of course) recording locally and transmitting to me in standard def. The "pauses" are me taking still photos and the camera writing to memory. BTW - none of the photos came out - the camera uses a stabilization system made for hand shakes, not the high speed vibration from the motor.

Lesson: cut power , take shot, resume flight.

I assume that's the video as it was recorded onboard, not the quality of the transmitted video. Or do you have an awesome video downlink system? I'd love to get quality like that from our rangevideo system.

Sigh - All recorded onboard. One nice thing about the TX1 camera is that it can record in 720P and still output ntsc live. I used the ntsc for my blackwidow AV link.

Another nice thing is that replacement LCDs screen are only $28, but thats another story.
