Wai Weng Kong replied to John Arne Birkeland's discussion Problem maintaining pitch when accelerating / decelerating.
"Is it possible to calculate the linear acceleration/deceleration by using the SOG info from the GPS and substract it from the DCM acceleration vector? Will the GPS update rate and latency simply too slow for this purpose?"

Wai Weng Kong replied to Bryan Cuervo's discussion Range issues with "Ardupilot in the loop"
"Seems like this is a common issue for Futaba 72Mhz radio. I faced this problem before and I had a discussion here: http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/705844:Topic:14909

After I switched to the Futaba 2.4GHz FAAST radio, all the problem solved. It's…"

Wai Weng Kong commented on Paul Gregory's blog post Building a UAV for photo mapping - Packing it all in
"I think another point of using separate Rx battery is to reduce interference. In some cases, the noise generated by the motor may go into the Rx through the BEC of the ESC."

Wai Weng Kong replied to Wai Weng Kong's discussion RC Receiver interference from the autopilot board
"Things are getting better now...This is what I did:
- Wrap the autopilot and Rx with grounded aluminium foil.
- Use a separate battery for the Rx and opto-coupled the output.

Now I can achieve the range of 40 steps with antenna down.

My original…"
